• Talaash

Talaash is the upcoming movie starring Aamir Khan, Karreina Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee. It is directed by Reema Kagti. It is produced by Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment and Aamir Khan Productions and written by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar. It was initially rumored to be titled as ‘Dhuaan’ and ‘An Act of Murder’. Talaash is a suspense thriller with Aamir playing a cop. After a superb music in Delhi Belly, Ram Sampath will design soundtracks for Talash on the lyrics by Javed Akhtar.

Latest News: For a particular scene to be shot, Aamir and Kareeina had to be in a red light area but due to security issues the same shoot was shot at a café in Colaba Causeway in Mumbai. The theatrical rights of the film have been sold to Reliance for a whopping 90 crores!

The movie is slated to release on 1^st June and is currently in a final stage of its shooting. Its budget is approximately 40 crores. It is Aamir Khan’s first commercial release after 3 Idiots. Film shooting is currently going on in Mumbai, Pondicherry and London.

•  Rowdy Rathore

Rowdy Rathore is the upcoming movie starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, directed by the ‘Wanted’ Director Prabhu Deva. It is the remake of a telugu film ‘Vikramaduru’. The posters of this movie are released and the producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali has adopted a unique technique of sketching the posters of the movie and releasing them. They are released with punchlines like ‘Faulad ki Aulad’, ‘Ilaka Tera Dhamaka Mera’ and ‘Naya saal, Naya maal’. This movie is already making waves as it marks the comeback of Khiladi Kumar in a full-fledged Action avtar.

Akshay has a double role in RR, one is cop and the other one is a mastermind thief.

Incident on the set in Filmistan, Goregaon: While shooting a scene Akshay was almost shot by the bullet from the gun of one the guards present at the shoot. Guard who had his gun kept on his lap accidently hit the trigger. Akshay was incidently shooting within an edge.

The television rights of Rowdy rathore were sold for record 45 crore (highest till date) beating previous record of Agneepath (41 crore). Karishma Kapoor has been signed in to do an item number in RR.

• Ek Tha Tiger

Ek tha Tiger is Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s upcoming movie and it is Salman’s first movie in the Yash Raj camp. It is directed by Kabir Khan who has initially worked with Aditya Chopra and hence the same production house in New York which was an average hit.

To avoid clash with Aamir Khan’s Talaash, Salman has postpones its release. Ek Tha Tiger is slated to release around Eid in August 2012.

Salman Khan’s fee for this movie is reported to be 32 crores. Movie is currently being shot in Ireland, Turkey, Cuba and India.
